Senior-level students from the Rotary Music Festival are eligible for recommendation by the adjudicators as candidates for competition in the Ontario Music Festival, held in June each year. Winners from the top categories at the provincial level are then eligible to compete nationally in the Federation of Canadian Music Festivals held annually in August. In the past several years, the Rotary Music Festival has sent more than 40 representatives to the OMFA.
