2012 festival volunteers
Volunteers are essential to any festival and the Rotary Burlington Music Festival is no exception. We work diligently, year round, in order to make it a success and provide a rewarding experience to our young aspiring musicians.
We cannot do it on our own, WE NEED YOU. If you are a music lover, a parent or grandparent of an aspiring young musician, are involved in the music industry, or just want to help, we need you.
The festival runs for two weeks, from November 5 to November 17, 2012, Monday to Saturday from 9am to 9pm (lunch & dinner breaks are provided). We have multiple venues and we are looking for the following three volunteer positions at each venue:
Registrar Responsibilities include:confirmation of preregistration,completeness of documentation, logistical guidance to festival participants, ticket sales, and daily sales report.
Secretary This role will assist the adjudicator with the tasks necessary to enable and complete the evaluation.
Venue Coordinator This position is responsible for opening and closing of the venue, confirms that the registrar and secretary have all necessary supplies, and replaces either of the two in case of emergencies.
Previous festival experience for this position is preferred, but not required.
